What: Steubenville East Youth Conference

Who: Open to any teens entering 9th grade in the fall of 2026 through a graduated senior in the spring of 2026.

What is the Steubenville Youth Conference?

Started over 30 years ago by the late Fr. Michael Scanlan TOR, the Steubenville Youth Conference is one of the premiere catholic conferences for teens in North America. When it first began the conference was held once a year at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. Now, the conference spans the entire country and Canada with over 15 locations. Rooted in the Holy Spirit and Catholic traditions, this conference brings teens from all over the world together for an opportunity to grow in their faith in a powerful and life changing way. At the Conference teens will experience a movement of great joy through engaging speakers, powerful worship, Christian fellowship and small groups, all while participating in the source and summit of our faith, the graces received by participating in the sacraments.

What is included in the cost?

The cost of the trip is $350 per teen (max $500 per family). Included in this amount is the conference itself, transportation, a two-night stay in a hotel, certain meals, and a t-shirt. A $50 deposit is due two weeks after you complete the initial registration to reserve your spot.  Remaining balance is due Friday, May 29th.

What Meals are teens responsible for?

Teens will be responsible for lunch on Friday before they arrive and lunch on Sunday on the way back to Keene.

 

Meals that are included are Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner.  Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.

12:00PM                           Teens arrive at St. Bernard Church for Check-in and depart

3:00PM                              Arrive at La Quinta Inn in Springfield, MA

3:30PM                              Conference Registration & Beginning of the Conference with Mass at the Cathedral of                                              Saint Michael the Archangel in Springfield 

 

From Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon teens will be at the Steubenville East conference (MassMutual Center).  A conference schedule will be made available at the end of the spring.

 

Sunday July 26, 2026

12:00PM                           Depart La Quinta Inn Hotel

                                         Stop on the way to get lunch

3:00PM                             Arrive at St. Bernard’s Church

How to register:

Part 1: Secure Your Spot & Deposit – To initially reserve your spot you must complete this form.  Along with completing this initial form, a $50, nonrefundable, deposit is due within two weeks of submitting this form. Deposits can be cash or check made payable to "Parish of the Holy Spirit". The deposit can be dropped off to the parish office during normal business hours or mailed to Parish of the Holy Spirit using the following address: Parish of the Holy Spirit, 173 Main Street, Keene, NH 03431

 

Part 2: Once both the “Steubenville Initial Registration” and the $50 deposit are received by Parish of the Holy Spirit, you will receive email instructions for completing the second part of the registration: the required conference waiver. Once this waiver is completed your registration is complete! 

Remaining fee balance is due Friday, May 29th.
